Honeychild (<-- listen/download/buy their album) were supersick, like way too sick to be opening bands, especially Honeychild. guess who signed my cat shirt. all the members of all the bandsss, gangstaluv. that's who! Cat shirt is now even more legendary, and I talked to so many of them after the show. And I met my husband. Crazy, right? I don't want to creep him out so I won't disclose that he is the bassist of Honeychild. But I'll blog the wedding later. Anyway, after I go to a show, I get in musicianmode and listen to that band more than normal. You know, to bask in the magic of the show the night before. So I busted out "it's complicated being a wizard," and realized I draw my mountains very similarly to the album artist. Let's compare.
So, obviously, I decided to grab my brown sweater from my brown bear Halloween costume and embroider some Portugal-inspired mountains on that shit!
pretty pumped to be done embroidering so i can wear it because guess what. i'm cold. yeah. it's getting cold in arizona. love you.
